No Guarantee of Absolute Security

While Remson IT Ltd (“we”, “our”, or “us”) implements robust security measures and follows industry best practices, no system is entirely immune to cyber threats. Accordingly, we do not guarantee that our services or your systems will be completely secure or free from vulnerability to cyber attack, data breach, or other malicious activity.

Exclusion of Liability for Cyber Attacks

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to financial loss, reputational harm, business interruption, data loss, or corruption, arising from or related to any cyber attack, security breach, malware, ransomware, phishing, or other cyber incident – whether such incidents are targeted at your systems, third-party services you rely on, or our own infrastructure.

Third-Party Services and Software

Where we configure or manage third-party systems, platforms, or services (such as Microsoft 365, antivirus platforms, or cloud hosting providers), our responsibility is limited to the scope of our engagement. We accept no liability for issues, breaches, or outages that originate from these third parties or that occur due to actions or omissions outside our reasonable control.

Client Responsibility

It remains the client’s responsibility to ensure their internal processes, access controls, user behaviours, and policies adhere to security best practices. We encourage clients to follow our recommendations, including implementing multi-factor authentication, maintaining patching schedules, and training staff in cyber hygiene. Failure to act on such advice may increase the likelihood or severity of a security incident.

Insurance & Risk Transfer

We recommend that all clients obtain suitable cyber insurance to mitigate the financial risks associated with cyber incidents. Our services are not a substitute for appropriate risk transfer measures.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Remson IT Ltd from any claims, liabilities, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your failure to maintain adequate security controls, follow our recommendations, or your misuse of our services.
